How to Record SiriusXM Internet Shows

SiriusXM listeners love the wide range of content they can get through their radios, but reception suffers from drop outs and listeners may want to listen to certain shows at their convenience. Fortunately, it’s easy to record SiriusXM radio shows on your computer through SirisuXM’s online listening function.

Thanks to Applian Technologies, SiriusXM fans can easily record SiriusXM content without paying hundreds of dollars for dedicated SiriusXM recording devices.

If you have a SiriusXM satellite radio subscription, you can record the SiriusXM galaxy of online channels with your Windows PC and Applian Technologies’ Replay Replay Radio.

You’ll be amazed how easy it is to record Sirius content so you can listen to it whenever you want. Record SiriusXM Radio shows from a huge selection like these favorites:

  • Howard Stern
  • Baseball, Football, Hockey
  • The Grateful Dead Channel
  • Tiësto’s Club Life Radio
  • And hundreds more!

This versatile program can schedule and record your favorite shows as MP3 files, which play on any PC, iPod or MP3 Player. You can even burn shows to CDs, make iPod Audiobook files, or convert to other formats. It’s never been simpler to listen to your favorite SiriusXM channels wherever and whenever you want.

Tips on How To Record SiriusXM Shows

Start by downloading and installing Replay Radio.

  1. Go to the SiriusXM website and select “Listen Online.” Pick a channel that you want to record.
  2. Click “Audio” in Replay Radio and hit “Start.” You just started to record SiriusXM radio content.
  3. Once the recording has taken place as scheduled, go to the Library tab of the main Replay Radio window. The recording’s icon will appear.
  4. To play the MP3 file just go to the pull down menu on its icon and look for Play.
  5. If you’ve got a lot of recordings from the same channel, you can use the Rename function to give them more distinct titles. Just hit the pull down window next to a recording, click Rename, and type in the new name.
  6. Replay Radio can also convert your file to many useful file types. Go to the Library tab. On the left side of the screen you will see “No Conversion Setting.” Now click on the words and cascading windows will give you dozens of file conversion options.

In this case, I’ve opened the window for conversion to Apple phone formats, but as you can see there is a wide variety of conversion options for other phones, media players, game consoles and other devices.

So that’s how easy it is to record SiriusXM shows — or just parts of shows — and keep them for convenient listening.
